Barteet hopes to encounter a friend during Louisiana’s Weirder Side:
Downtown Paranormal Fest this weekend. The only thing is, her friend is
dead.“I used to be in this Indian organization called Twin Eagles, and
the guy whowas president of Twin Eagles was really involved in the
Multicultural Center, and he died,” Barteet said. “So I’m hoping maybe
Jerry will come through. Who knows?”
Different teams of investigators and spiritists led the hunt for
paranormal activity in downtown Shreveport Friday night and will
continue the pursuit tonight. Locations include the Multicultural Center
of the South, Norsworthy Gallery and the Spring Street Museum. There
also will be workshops, vendor sales, Victorian mansion tours and more
events throughout the day.
